- The PixEdit® Standard-version covers most demands for scanning, post-processing and archiving.
- The standard-version can easily be extended with an OCR-module if you need text recognition.
- You can also expand it with PixJet® if you want to be able to open and convert any kind of document in PixEdit®, f.ex. from Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- If you have high demands on production-volume, there is also a PixEdit® PRO-version, which exploits the multi-core capabilities of your machine so that several documents can be processed simultaneously.
PixEdit® delivers directly to your document management system
PixEdit® is a standalone program, but it can also be integrated with Document Management Systems and deliver files to to be stored and indexed in their databases.
Independent of scanner-type and -model
You can use both document scanners, multi-functional printers (MFPs) and large format scanners for scanning with PixEdit®. And you can save different profiles for several scanners and for network scanning.
Advanced technology
Featuring advanced automatic document cleanup tools and our unique ACRO™ technology, PixEdit® automatically evaluates each page and decides if it should be stored as a color page, as a grayscale or black/ white page. Combined with the powerful and automatic post-scan processing functions and background/multi-thread processing with DocServer, all you have to do is to press the Scan button.
More than 100 raster file formats are supported, including secure PDF and PDF/A. PixEdit® also supports bookmark editing and markup in the PDF format. In addition, several batch processing modes (Watch-mode, DocServer, etc.) are available for high volume, top quality, industry-standard processing of your scanned documents.
